Acids

1. Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution

What is it: This glycolic acid 7% toning solution offers mild exfoliation for improved skin radiance and visible clarity. It contains Tasmanian Pepperberry which minimises irritation associated with acid use. This product helps balance out the skin’s pH.

Great for: Cell turnover, fine lines/ wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, evens out skin tone.

Time to use: Night Routine. Use as an toner- no more than once a day to avoid over-exfoliation. After cleansing, use product on cotton pad to apply on face and next. Avoid eye contours. Do not rinse off.

Tip: Always use a min. SPF 30 during the day when using acids even though you are using the product at night, because your skin will be prone to photo-sensitivity/ sunburn. For best results, it is advisable to avoid sun exposure while using any forms of acids.

2. Salicylic Acid 2% Solution

What is it: A water-based Salicylic Acid 2% (BHA- beta hydroxyl acid) exfoliating serum. It contains witch hazel which  is an astringent that helps make pores appear less visible.

Great for: Unclogging pores. Targets blackheads and whiteheads.

Time to use: Day/ Night Routine. Use as a serum/ spot routine- before oils/ creams.

Tip: Could me used as a spot treatment or to brighten overall complexion. Always use a min. 3. Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%

What is it: A light-weight cream-gel consistency. Azelaic Acid is found in grains and is produced naturally by yeast that is found on skin.

Great for: Brightens uneven skin tone and reduces the appearance of blemishes.

7. AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

What is it: A 10-minute acid exfoliating facial. With 30% Alpha Hydroxyl Acids (Glycolic/Lactic/Tartaric/Citric), 2% Beta Hydroxyl Acid (Salicylic Acid), Hyaluronic Acid Crosspolymer, Vitamin B5, Black Carrot and Tasmanian Pepperberry.

Great for: Helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, brightens, improve skin texture, depigmentation, controls oiliness and prevents breakouts.

Time to use: Night time use. Use no more than twice a week to prevent from over exfoliation/ sensitisation. Leave on for no more than 10 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes both during application and rinse off.

Anti-oxidants

1. Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3%

What is it: A Water-Free, High-Potency Antioxidant Formula. This treatment protects skin against the signs of aging caused by free radical damage and soothes redness. Industry average would normally only contain at most 1% Resveratrol and 0.5% or less of Ferulic Acid. Therefore, making this product highly potent.

  • Resveratrol: an antioxidant derived from Japanese knotweed that protects from free radical damage and soothes skin irritation (Caudalie is a brand that have been using this ingredient for over 20 years)
  • Ferulic Acid: a high-potency phytochemical antioxidant found naturally in the walls of plant cells

Great for: Boost collagen & elastin (by neutralising free radical damage), reverse signs of ageing, banish wrinkles/ fine lines.

Time to use: Day/ Night Routine. Use a serum or after a water-based serum and before oils/ creams.

Tip: It is always advisable to use sunscreen on a daily basis, even in winter as snow reflects 80% UV light while sand only reflects 10-25%.

Note: May not be suitable for severely sensitive skin. Always to do a patch test prior to product usage. Some users have reported stickiness upon application.

2. EUK 134 0.1%

What is it: A Water-Free, and by far the most potent anti-oxidant in the market. Unlike other anti-oxidants, the EUK134 regenerates itself as banishes free radicals. Due to it’s self-regenerating molecule, this antioxidant will give your skin the protection all day long.

Great for: Boost collagen & elastin (by neutralising free radical damage), reverse signs of photo-ageing, banish wrinkles/ fine lines.

Time to use: Day Routine. Best used once a day. Use a serum or after a water-based serum and before oils/ creams.Do not use with highly acidic formulations such as Vitamin C serum (ascorbic acid).

Tip: It is always advisable to use sunscreen on a daily basis, even in winter as snow reflects 80% UV light while sand only reflects 10-25%.

Note: Strong acids will completely destroy EUK 134 May not be suitable for severely sensitive skin. Always to do a patch test prior to product usage. It may feel a little oily although the product is oil-free.

3. Alpha Lipoic Acid 5%

What is it: A water-free alpha lipoic acid solution which is a potent anti-oxidant that can help restore a renew skin appearance (improves skin tone/ skin texture). It is 400x stronger than Vitamin C + E combined.

Great for: Helps  reduce swelling and puffiness in the face. Its anti-inflammatory effects reduce redness and blotchiness, resulting in an evening out of skin tone, often making foundation unnecessary.

Time to use: Night time use. Use 2-3x per week. This treatment can be diluted in oil to reduce strength.

Note: This formulation contains an extremely high concentration of ALA. Daily use is not recommended since such a high frequency of use can cause skin sensitivity.
